SCUBA

Diver and turtle

Within this post I provide information for Scuba Diving and a space for divers to find references to explorations which they may not have known about otherwise.  More information will be added as this is another adventure which I enjoy researching and writing about. Many divers say that there is something magical about Scuba. You will never forget your first dive; the sensation of weightlessness and wonderful scenery will lock into your mind for ever. The ocean provides a universe of curious creatures.

ONE OF THE BEST KEPT SECRETS

img118

The Philippines is one of the best kept secrets, and there are some who wish to keep it that way.  A decent number of Americans retire to the Philippines for various reasons.  The lifestyle can be very cheap depending on what you are looking for. City life can be expensive. Manila is very much like New York, and I have never seen such traffic jams. The crime isn’t as bad as one may think. Things can get rough if you end up in the wrong place, but you don’t hear about very many violent crimes.

Province life in the Philippines is the best as far as I am concerned. There is nothing like waking up to fresh country air. The Filipinos in the province are very hard workers and hospitable as well. They seem to enjoy life as well as they enjoy their food. Eating is a part of the Filipino culture as well as parties and dancing. They take pride in both. You will find some of the best tourist areas in the mountain regions. The climate is just right for those who are not comfortable in tropical heat.

The beauty of the countryside is breath taking, from the beaches up to the mountain regions. The url below will take you to a reasonably priced guide which will explain everything in detail, including the culture and customs which are very important.
