Hotel location

First of all; location, location, location. Is the hotel centralized (jump off point)? How far would you have to travel to reach a decent restaurant? This may be extremely important for business trips.  Also, you may want to find out what type of technology is available. Do they have Wi-Fi; if so, how strong is it? How many different gadgets can you use at one time? This is another important factor for business trips. Observe what type of online presence they have.  For example, now days many hotels have mobile apps. This makes it very convenient to order room service in a flash.

Hotel washer and dryer

If you are going to be away for a long time, you may want to have access to a washer and dryer. Take care of the laundry before you get home makes it easy for you to recuperate.

Hotel Staff1

Take note of the staff. How do they address you? How eager are they to take care of your needs?

These are just the major facts which you may want to consider, but to sum it all up; luxury. That is what a hotel should be able to provide in a big way.

If all else fails there’s a site called trivago. They know all about hotels.
