Essential Tips & Information
Ideal Escapes ore owned by the dream
I am not a world traveler, although I have visited a few countries. There are many interesting people whom I have come across, and the Expat is number one on my list. Therefore, I have decided to build a page and posts for my Expat friends to tell their stories. Also, I wish to be able to connect them with those who wish to become Expats.
Expat is short for Expatriate
An Expat is simply a person who lives in a country other than their country of legal residence or origin for long periods of time. Here lately that definition has been challenged, as there are growing rates of people who find life more favorable in other countries. They decide to remain there under the title of an expat
There are many reasons for becoming an expat. For example, I have met college students who have become bored with the traditional education system. They decided that they would rather experience the information being formally taught here in the States. In one or two cases which I have heard of, the students had made great progress in their studies after returning home. One of the downfalls was returning home to discover their friend’s progression out of the educational setting and into the working world.
There are other people who have worked all of their lives and wish to retire in a less stressful environment. There are many more reasons for becoming an Expat, but I refuse to bore you with statistics. Please feel free to explore the URLs below, leading to the stories of my Expat friends. You may contact them for any information that has not already been provided. For those of you who have been guided here by my signup form
http://bit.ly/1oK1kYD . Please note that this is only the intro page to information for expats. I have prepared other pages and posts, and I am building more, as I research. You will receive the info as I complete and post my research on the subjects. For those of you who do not wish to complete the expat signup form, please feel free to visit from time to time for more information.
